Silver Touch Technologies share price today

Silver Touch Technologies

Silver Touch Technologies sits in a different corner of Indian IT services from the global outsourcing majors. It builds and runs e-governance platforms, enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, managed security and workplace systems, often for public-sector customers. The work can be sticky once a citizen-facing platform is live, but government procurement, milestones and receivables make the economics more project-driven than a simple software-subscription story.

At the 25 August 2026 research cut-off, the Silver Touch Technologies share price was approximately ₹182 after adjusting for a March 2026 stock split and bonus issue. That represented a market capitalisation near ₹2,299 crore, a trailing P/E of 55.2 times, price-to-book of 13.6 times, ROCE of 29.8% and ROE of 24.4%.

The operating momentum is real. Trailing sales reached ₹360 crore, operating margin widened to 20%, and June 2026 margin was 22%. The tension is that a great deal of future success is already capitalised. At more than 55 times trailing earnings, the share needs sustained growth, clean cash conversion and durable margins; merely winning more public-sector orders is not enough.

What Silver Touch Technologies actually does

The company’s service catalogue spans custom enterprise software, cloud application development, mobile systems, DevOps, data analytics, applied AI, SAP and Odoo implementations, e-governance portals, managed security, data-centre and modern-workplace services. That breadth can look unfocused, but it also lets Silver Touch combine application development, infrastructure and ongoing support in one government or enterprise engagement.

E-governance is the most distinctive part. Projects include citizen, business and inter-government portals, workflow platforms, dashboards and manpower-supported operations. The investor page in 2025–26 listed project updates involving ministries, regulators, state departments, airports, defence-linked institutions and healthcare bodies. Individual announcements establish activity; they do not by themselves establish contract profitability.

Cloud and managed workplaceHosting, monitoring, backup and infrastructurePotentially recurring managed serviceVendor dependence and capital intensity
CybersecurityMonitoring, testing and managed protectionAssessment plus recurring operationsTalent, liability and rapid technology change
AI and analyticsDecision support and automated workflowsEarly-stage project revenueHype, uncertain scaling and data constraints

The quality of the mix matters more than the number of service labels. Multi-year managed services with renewal history deserve a higher valuation than one-off hardware-heavy system integration. Investors need segment disclosure, gross margin and cash collection to judge that distinction.

Government work creates both stickiness and friction

A government platform can be difficult to replace after deployment because it contains workflows, databases, interfaces, security controls and trained users. The supplier builds institutional knowledge that a challenger must recreate. Successful execution can lead to maintenance, upgrades and adjacent modules, giving Silver Touch a form of account-level recurring revenue without selling conventional software licences.

The same customer type brings friction. Procurement is tender-led, lowest-price pressure can be intense, scope may change after award and payment can depend on acceptance milestones. A contract headline may include pass-through hardware, third-party licences or manpower, all of which can grow revenue without lifting gross profit proportionately.

This makes order announcements inputs, not conclusions. The useful questions are contract tenure, Silver Touch’s own value-added share, milestone structure, working-capital requirement and whether the project creates reusable intellectual property. The company earns a moat when repeat delivery lowers its cost and risk on the next platform, not merely because the buyer is a government body.

FY26 combined growth with a margin step-up

Consolidated sales increased from ₹288 crore in FY25 to ₹342 crore in FY26. Operating profit rose much faster, from ₹38 crore to ₹62 crore, lifting operating margin from 13% to 18%. Net profit advanced from ₹22 crore to ₹36 crore, while adjusted EPS reached ₹2.82 on the post-action share base.

Operating margin10%11%13%18%20%
Net profit1016223642
Adjusted EPS₹0.76₹1.26₹1.75₹2.82₹3.29

The four-year direction is unusually clean: revenue, margin and profit all improved. That is better than growth driven by billing volume alone. It also raises the forecasting risk because the trailing P/E applies to an earnings base already carrying seven percentage points more operating margin than FY24.

The company has to prove whether the change reflects recurring managed services, more software-led contracts, operating leverage and better execution—or a favourable collection of project milestones. The sustainable answer will appear in gross profit, employee cost, subcontracting, segment mix and cash flow over several reporting periods.

June 2026 kept margin high despite lower sequential revenue

The June 2026 quarter reported ₹78 crore of sales, up from ₹63 crore a year earlier but below ₹101 crore in March. Operating profit was ₹17 crore and margin reached 22%, compared with 14% in June 2025. Net profit rose to about ₹10 crore from ₹4 crore, producing adjusted EPS of ₹0.79.

Quarterly measureJun 2025Mar 2026Jun 2026Reading
Revenue₹63 Cr₹101 Cr₹78 CrStrong year on year, seasonally lower than March
Operating profit₹9 Cr₹22 Cr₹17 CrMargin protected on lower sequential sales
Operating margin14%21%22%Supports the mix-improvement thesis
Net profit₹4 Cr₹13 Cr₹10 CrMore than doubled year on year
Adjusted EPS₹0.32₹1.04₹0.79Based on post-split, post-bonus shares

The margin retention is constructive. A project company often has a large March quarter as customers use budgets and milestones close. June’s lower sales therefore need not signal lost momentum. The next test is whether later quarters rebuild revenue without margin falling back toward the old low-teens band.

Interest expense was ₹2 crore and depreciation ₹2 crore in June. Those figures are meaningful against quarterly operating profit but not destabilising. Continued growth in managed infrastructure could raise both assets and depreciation, so EBITDA expansion should be reconciled with EBIT, cash capex and financing.

The 2026 split and bonus changed every per-share comparison

Silver Touch subdivided each ₹10 face-value share into five ₹2 shares and then issued one bonus share for every post-split share, using 6 March 2026 as the record date. One old share therefore became ten current shares. The company restated comparative EPS where required.

Corporate actionTermsEconomic effect
Stock split₹10 face value divided into five ₹2 sharesFive times as many shares; no value created by itself
Bonus issue1:1 on the post-split holdingShare count doubled again; reserves reclassified
Combined resultOne old share became ten current sharesHistorical price and EPS need a 10-for-1 lens
Record date6 March 2026Current quote and Screener EPS are post-action

This point prevents a common analytical error. A pre-action price or EPS cannot be compared directly with the ₹182 quote and ₹3.29 trailing EPS. The lower face value also does not make the share economically cheaper. Market capitalisation, enterprise value, profit and ownership percentages are the relevant continuity measures.

The corporate action may have increased trading accessibility and the shareholder count, which rose sharply in FY26. That can improve liquidity while also attracting momentum trading. It has no bearing on whether a 55-times earnings multiple is justified.

Cash conversion improved, but the history is uneven

FY26 operating cash flow was ₹17 crore against net profit of ₹36 crore. Free cash flow turned positive at about ₹13 crore after two weak years, but cash conversion remained below accounting profit. FY25 operating cash flow was slightly negative despite reported earnings.

Cash and balance-sheet measureFY23FY24FY25FY26

Operating cash flow₹16 Cr₹3 Cr-₹3 Cr₹17 Cr
Free cash flow-₹5 Cr-₹10 Cr-₹22 Cr₹13 Cr
CFO / operating profit92%12%-9%47%
Fixed assets plus CWIP₹38 Cr₹44 Cr₹61 Cr₹68 Cr

Debt-to-equity was a moderate 0.19, and borrowing declined in FY26. The balance sheet is not the primary risk. Working capital is. Government and system-integration contracts can create receivables, unbilled revenue, deposits and inventory or licence pass-throughs that make profit arrive before cash.

A premium IT-services valuation normally requires either high recurring revenue or dependable cash conversion. Silver Touch has shown improving margin; it has not yet shown consistently strong free cash flow across the cycle. That is the biggest gap between the income statement and the multiple.

What could be a real moat

Silver Touch’s best potential advantage is a library of delivery experience in regulated and citizen-facing environments. Government platforms need security, multilingual interfaces, identity integrations, audit trails, high availability and compliance with procurement documentation. Teams that have navigated those requirements can bid and execute with lower risk than a generic software shop.

Long client relationships, reference projects, empanelments and support contracts can reinforce that edge. Combining application, cloud, security and operations also reduces coordination for the buyer. If each project creates reusable components and domain knowledge, the company can grow revenue faster than delivery headcount.

The moat remains unproven in the financial data. A broad service list can also mean a people-heavy integrator with limited pricing power. Public buyers can retender work, large IT firms can compete, and specialist cloud or cyber vendors can attack profitable niches. Watch revenue per employee, repeat business, order tenure, software-led mix and gross margin rather than assuming every e-governance reference is proprietary IP.

Ownership and liquidity changed after the corporate action

Promoters held 74.66% in June 2026, near the permitted ceiling. Foreign institutions held about 0.48%, while public ownership was approximately 24.85%. The shareholder count climbed from roughly 1,600 in mid-2025 to more than 10,700 by June 2026, coinciding with the split, bonus and sharp price interest.

A high promoter holding leaves a smaller effective float. That can magnify movements when new contracts, results or market narratives arrive. It also places a premium on related-party transparency, capital allocation and accurate disclosure of contract economics.

The company has paid small dividends, with the cut-off yield only about 0.06%. The investment case is therefore almost entirely growth and valuation. A token payout is useful as evidence of distribution discipline but provides no meaningful downside support at the current price.

Valuation at the research cut-off

At ₹182, the shares traded at 55.2 times trailing EPS of ₹3.29, about 13.6 times book value and 32.4 times enterprise value to EBITDA. ROCE was 29.8% and ROE 24.4%.

Ubersuggest showed search demand for “Silver Touch Technologies share price” and for the yearless target query, while the exact 2030 variant was negligible in its current dataset. The page keeps one canonical 2030 URL because the analytical intent is the same. Search volume does not change the central conclusion: a high-growth case and a high price must be evaluated together.

Valuation framework: exceptional growth is already required

The scenario model starts with trailing EPS of ₹3.29, already adjusted for the split and bonus. It applies 128/365 of a year’s growth to the 2026 row because the research cut-off is 25 August, then one full year for every later row. Each EPS outcome is multiplied by an exit P/E and rounded to the nearest ₹5; dividends are excluded.

ScenarioEPS growthExit P/EOperating interpretation
Bear12%28×Growth normalises, margin gives back part of the gain and the premium halves
Base20%42×Digital-government wins compound while margin and cash conversion improve gradually
Bull28%55×High growth persists, managed-service mix rises and the present premium survives

Even the bear case assumes positive EPS growth; its downside comes from multiple normalisation. The bull case retains the cut-off multiple after years of compounding and therefore requires evidence well beyond order announcements. The base case is not conservative in an absolute sense—it is simply less demanding than the market’s current expectations.

Silver Touch Technologies share price target 2026 to 2030

The scenario table converts the assumptions into annual bear, base and bull values. It is a sensitivity framework, not a prediction of a smooth share-price path. With a high starting multiple, changes in the terminal P/E can matter more than respectable earnings growth.

What would change the thesis

The case strengthens if revenue growth remains above the broader IT-services market, rolling operating margin holds around 18–20%, free cash flow approaches profit, managed and recurring service disclosure improves, and major public-sector wins convert into revenue without stretching receivables. Reusable platforms or IP-led revenue would justify a higher-quality multiple.

It weakens if new wins are hardware or manpower heavy, margin falls toward the old low-teens range, debt or receivables increase despite profit, customer concentration rises, or the company issues further promotional corporate actions without matching per-share cash growth. A fast-growing order count with falling cash conversion would be a warning, not confirmation.

What to weigh at the current price

Silver Touch has delivered the operating evidence investors usually want from a smaller IT company: accelerating sales, rising margins, improving returns and a stream of visible customer wins. June 2026 sustained the margin step-up rather than immediately reversing it. The service mix addresses durable public-sector digitisation, security and cloud needs.

The valuation is the restraint. More than 55 times trailing earnings and 32 times EBITDA leave little protection if cash conversion stays inconsistent or margin normalises. The split and bonus made the share count and quote look smaller, not the business cheaper. At this price, the decisive facts are recurring revenue, free cash flow and current-basis EPS—not the number of shares, the old price chart or the latest contract headline.

FAQ

What does the Silver Touch Technologies share price target 2030 scenario show?

The scenario grid above gives bear, base and bull outcomes from split-and-bonus-adjusted trailing EPS, stated growth and exit P/E assumptions. They are valuation scenarios, not a guaranteed target.

Why did the Silver Touch share price and EPS change in March 2026?

One ₹10 share was split into five ₹2 shares, after which a 1:1 bonus doubled the post-split holding. One old share became ten current shares, so historical per-share data must be adjusted.

What does Silver Touch Technologies do?

It provides e-governance platforms, enterprise software, ERP, cloud and managed workplace services, cybersecurity, analytics and related system-integration work.

Is Silver Touch Technologies debt-free?

No. Consolidated borrowings were about ₹33 crore at March 2026, although leverage remained moderate relative to equity.

What is the biggest risk in Silver Touch shares?

The main investment risk is valuation combined with uneven cash conversion. Project or tender growth can disappoint shareholders if receivables rise, margin falls or the earnings multiple normalises.

When will Silver Touch Technologies announce its next result?

Use the results calendar and confirm the board-meeting date through the company’s investor page or NSE/BSE filing.

Sources and methodology

Service descriptions, filings and corporate actions were checked on the company’s investor page and exchange records. Consolidated financial statements, ownership and the ₹182 market ratios were cross-checked in Chrome on Screener on 25 August 2026. The price and trailing EPS are post-split and post-bonus; using unadjusted historical figures would be misleading. The quote above can move, while the analysis and target base remain fixed to adjusted trailing EPS of ₹3.29 at the cut-off.
