Enviro Infra Engineers share price today

Enviro Infra Engineers

Anyone typing eiel share price into a search box is usually asking a narrower question than the ticker suggests. Enviro Infra Engineers is not a diversified industrial. It designs, builds, operates and maintains sewage treatment plants, common effluent treatment plants, water treatment plants and the pumping stations and pipelines that connect them, almost entirely for government authorities in India. It also executes renewable power plant projects and sells renewable energy. The company was incorporated in 2009, is based in Delhi and employed 1,844 people at the data cut-off.

At the completed session of 10 September 2026 the stock closed at ₹209.50, giving a market capitalisation of about ₹3,691 crore against trailing EPS of ₹10.80. That works out to roughly 19.4 times trailing earnings and 2.99 times a book value of ₹70.27 per share. The quote above updates after publication; every ratio and scenario input below stays fixed to the capture date named alongside it.

The tension in the name is easy to state. The five-year growth record is extraordinary, the current multiple is ordinary, and the customer is the government. Whether that combination is a bargain or a warning depends almost entirely on how fast the receivables turn into cash.

What Enviro Infra Engineers actually builds

The business splits into two project families and one annuity tail. Wastewater treatment plants cover sewage treatment, sewerage schemes and common effluent treatment for industrial clusters. Water supply scheme projects cover treatment plants, pumping stations and distribution pipelines. Behind both sits operation and maintenance, which is where a construction contract turns into a multi-year service contract.

Business layerWhat it deliversWho pays for itEconomic characteristic
Wastewater treatment plantsSewage treatment plants and sewerage schemesState and municipal bodiesLumpy, tender-driven, milestone-billed
Common effluent treatmentShared treatment for industrial clustersGovernment-backed cluster bodiesRegulation-linked demand
Water supply schemesTreatment plants, pumping stations, pipelinesState water and sanitation missionsCapital-heavy civil execution
Operation and maintenanceRunning the plants after handoverThe same public authorityRecurring, margin-stabilising
Renewable EPC and power saleSolar and renewable project executionMixedDiversification, not yet the core

The strategic logic is that national sanitation and river-cleaning programmes, Namami Gange among them, convert an environmental obligation into a funded capital-expenditure pipeline. That is a real demand driver. It is also a single counterparty type, which is the whole risk story in one sentence.

One gap worth naming up front: no order-book figure was captured in the data behind this article. Order inflow, closing order book and the execution period are the numbers that actually govern a water EPC company’s next three years, and they are not present here. Every statement below about growth is therefore backward-looking.

Reading the EIEL share price against its 52-week range

The stock has traded across a wide band in the twelve months to the cut-off. That range matters more than usual for a company that listed only in November 2024, because a short listed history gives the market little basis for a stable multiple.

MarkerLevelDistance from the 10 September close
52-week high₹271.52The close sits 22.84% below it
Close, 10 September 2026₹209.50Reference point for every ratio here
52-week low₹137.14The close sits about 53% above it

A stock roughly 23% off its high and roughly half again above its low is not telling you anything on its own. What it does tell you is that the market has repriced this business twice in a year, in both directions, on a float that has existed for under two years. Position sizing in a micro-cap with that profile is a different exercise from position sizing in a large-cap engineering contractor such as Larsen & Toubro.

Revenue grew hard, profit did not follow this year

Here the data has to be handled carefully. A full multi-year Screener financial table was not captured for this company at the cut-off. The annual revenue and profit rows below come from Yahoo Finance’s yearly series, where each row is labelled by the calendar year in which the March financial year ended. The five-year growth and return averages come from a separate Screener-derived capture dated 5 August 2026. No quarterly result is analysed anywhere in this article, because no verified quarterly series was captured, and inventing one would be worse than omitting it.

PeriodRevenueNet profitBasis
Year to March 2025Not captured₹176 CrYahoo yearly row, revenue value missing
Year to March 2026₹1,146 Cr₹183 CrYahoo yearly row
Trailing twelve months₹1,264 CrNot separately capturedYahoo TTM revenue

Profit moved from ₹176 crore to ₹183 crore, a rise of about 4%. Against that, the most recent year-on-year revenue-growth reading captured from Yahoo Finance was +49.1% while the matching earnings-growth reading was −5%. Those two readings do not agree — the annual rows show profit up about 4%, the Yahoo growth reading shows −5% — because the capture does not state the period the growth readings are measured over, and no quarterly series was captured that would settle it. Treat the direction of the annual rows as the verified figure and the −5% as an unreconciled second reading. What survives either way is the shape: revenue is expanding far faster than profit, and the earnings line has stopped keeping pace.

The longer record is the reason the stock is discussed at all. On the 5 August 2026 Screener-derived capture, the five-year sales CAGR was 55.97% and the five-year profit CAGR was 85.49%. Those are the numbers behind a PEG of 0.24. They are also the numbers least likely to repeat. A company that compounded profit at 85% for five years off a small base does not compound at 85% for five more, and a scenario model that assumes it would is not a model.

Returns on capital, and the two margin definitions

MeasureReadingBasis
Operating margin24.16%Screener-derived capture, 5 August 2026
Operating margin18.65%Yahoo Finance trailing twelve months
Net profit margin14.31%Yahoo Finance trailing twelve months
EBITDA₹287 CrYahoo Finance trailing twelve months
Return on equity17.00%Screener-derived capture
Return on capital employed20.39%Screener-derived capture
Five-year average ROCE44.60%Screener-derived capture

The two operating-margin figures are not a contradiction; they are two different definitions captured on two different dates, and the honest reading is that the true number sits somewhere in that band. Either way, a high-teens to mid-twenties operating margin is unusually good for civil-heavy EPC work, and it is the single most attractive line in the accounts.

The return ratios tell a compression story. A five-year average ROCE of 44.6% against a current 20.39% means the capital base has grown faster than the profit it earns, which is exactly what an IPO followed by an execution ramp looks like. Current return on equity of 17% is respectable, not exceptional. The question for the next two years is whether 20% ROCE is the new floor or the current stop on the way down.

The balance sheet, and the receivables question underneath it

ItemReadingWhy it matters
Total debt₹422 CrProject finance and working-capital borrowing
Total cash₹401 CrLargely offsets the debt
Net debtAbout ₹21 CrDebt minus cash, on the captured figures
Debt to equity34.1%Moderate for a project business
Book value per share₹70.27Against a ₹209.50 price, 2.99× book
Promoter holding70.23%Tightly held
Promoter shares pledged0.00%No pledge-driven forced-sale risk
Dividend yield0.00%All returns must come from reinvestment

On its face this is a comfortable balance sheet: net debt of roughly ₹21 crore and a debt-to-equity ratio near 34% do not threaten solvency. Promoter holding above 70% with zero pledged shares removes one of the common micro-cap failure modes.

What the captured figures cannot show is the shape of the receivable. Government water and sanitation contracts are billed against certified milestones, and certification is a bureaucratic act, not a commercial one. A single state department slowing its approvals can push a quarter of revenue into the next year without any deterioration in the underlying project. This is the specific risk to watch in a company whose customer base is almost entirely public authorities, and it is why cash conversion deserves more attention here than the reported margin does.

Roughly 19 times earnings is not a demanding multiple for a business growing revenue at the rate reported. It is a perfectly ordinary multiple for a government-facing EPC contractor with lumpy receivables. Which of those two sentences is right is the entire investment question, and the honest answer is that the captured data supports both. If you want the mechanics of how a multiple and a growth rate combine into a price, the method is set out in how to value a stock.

Valuation framework

The scenario model starts with TTM EPS of ₹10.8. For each year it applies EPS_TTM × (1 + growth)^(year − 2026 + 112/365) × exit P/E, then rounds the result to the nearest ₹5. The 112/365 factor represents the fraction of the first forecast year remaining from 10 September to 31 December.

ScenarioAnnual EPS growthExit P/EBusiness interpretation
Bear8%11×Payment cycles stretch, order intake slows, and a project business re-rates back toward book value
Base16%18×Sanitation and water spending sustains double-digit execution growth at roughly current margins
Bull24%24×Order intake and the O&M annuity both scale, working capital behaves, and the market pays a modest premium

The multiple range is set deliberately from well below to modestly above the present 19.4 times. Assuming both sustained high growth and permanent multiple expansion would just restate today’s optimism twice. Note also that the growth rates are far below the historic five-year profit CAGR of 85.49%, because base effects and a much larger equity base make that rate mechanically unrepeatable. These are scenarios, not probability-weighted forecasts, and dividends are excluded because the yield is zero.

Enviro Infra Engineers share price target 2026 to 2030

The grid above is generated only from the disclosed EPS, growth and exit-multiple inputs. It does not model order-book conversion, a fresh equity issue, a change in the working-capital cycle, an acquisition, exceptional items or any change in capital structure. For a company that listed in November 2024 and has a short public financial history, those omissions are material, and the framework should be re-run against each new annual disclosure rather than carried forward.

Risks that can break the thesis

The first and largest risk is counterparty concentration. Revenue depends on government authorities whose budget releases and milestone certifications move on political and administrative timelines, not commercial ones. A stretched receivable in this model does not show up as a loss; it shows up as a working capital drain that quietly consumes the operating cash flow that would otherwise fund the next project.

The second is the fading return profile. ROCE has moved from a five-year average of 44.6% to 20.39%. That descent is explainable, but if it continues, the multiple compresses even if profit grows.

The third is the earnings pause itself. Profit rose about 4% on the annual rows while the captured revenue-growth reading is 49.1%, and a second Yahoo reading puts earnings growth at −5% over a period the capture does not state. Whichever of the two earnings readings holds, the profit line is not keeping pace with the revenue line, and that gap needs an explanation from the next full disclosure. Rising input or subcontracting costs, a mix shift toward lower-margin civil work, or higher interest and depreciation from the expanded asset base would each produce that pattern, and they carry very different implications.

Finally, this is a micro-cap that listed under two years ago, with no dividend, a 70.23% promoter holding and consequently a thin free float. Liquidity can disappear precisely when an investor most wants it.

What would change the picture

The constructive case strengthens if operating cash flow starts tracking reported profit, if the receivable days disclosed in the annual accounts stop lengthening, if ROCE stabilises at or above 20%, and if the operation and maintenance share of revenue rises enough to smooth the lumpiness of pure construction. Disclosure of order inflow and closing order book each period would materially improve the quality of any forecast built on this company.

It weakens if revenue growth continues to outrun profit, if the debt figure climbs while cash falls, if margin drifts toward the lower of the two captured operating-margin readings, or if a large contract is delayed or cancelled by a state authority. Any of those would argue for the lower growth and lower multiple end of the framework rather than the middle.

Where the evidence sits today

Enviro Infra Engineers has the two things a small industrial rarely has at once: a demand driver funded by public policy rather than the economic cycle, and an operating margin that a civil-heavy contractor is not supposed to earn. Zero pledged promoter shares and near-zero net debt remove the usual micro-cap accidents. Nineteen times earnings does not ask the buyer to believe anything heroic.

Against that, the return on capital is compressing, the earnings line stalled while revenue surged, the order book is undisclosed in the captured data, and almost every rupee of revenue is owed by a government body. This is a business worth following closely, and the evidence it most needs to produce is not another contract announcement. It is a cash flow statement showing that the profit it reports actually arrives.

FAQ

What is the EIEL share price target for 2026?

The framework on this page derives 2026 from trailing EPS of ₹10.80, one of three annual growth rates and one of three exit multiples, with the partial-year factor of 112/365 applied because only part of 2026 remains from the 10 September cut-off. It produces a range of outcomes across bear, base and bull assumptions, not a single number. It should be read as arithmetic on stated inputs, not as a forecast or a recommendation.

What is the Enviro Infra share price target for 2030?

The 2030 figures come from the same three-scenario arithmetic compounded across roughly four and a quarter years. Because the compounding period is longer, the gap between the bear and bull outcomes widens considerably, which is the honest signal about how much is unknown at this horizon. Any figure four years out is an illustration of assumptions, not a prediction.

What does Enviro Infra Engineers do?

It designs, builds, operates and maintains water and wastewater treatment infrastructure for government authorities in India. That includes sewage treatment plants, sewerage schemes, common effluent treatment plants, water treatment plants, pumping stations and distribution pipelines. It also executes renewable power plant projects and sells renewable energy.

Is Enviro Infra Engineers listed on NSE and BSE?

The figures used throughout this article come from the NSE line for the symbol EIEL, and the company listed in November 2024. The dataset behind this article records the NSE listing only, so it does not confirm the position on any other exchange. The NSE quote page linked under sources shows the current listing status and filings.

What is the ROCE of Enviro Infra Engineers?

Return on capital employed was 20.39% on the Screener-derived capture, with a five-year average of 44.60%. Return on equity was 17.00% and the operating margin 24.16% on the same basis. The distance between the current and five-year ROCE figures is the more informative number, because it shows the capital base growing faster than the profit it generates.

Who are the promoters of Enviro Infra Engineers?

Promoter holding was 70.23% with zero shares pledged at the cut-off, which is a tightly held register and removes forced-sale risk from pledged collateral. The individual promoter names are not part of the figures captured for this article. The shareholding pattern filed with the exchange lists them in full.

Sources and methodology

Price, 52-week range, market capitalisation, trailing EPS, book value, debt, cash, revenue, EBITDA, promoter holding and the annual profit rows were captured from Yahoo Finance after the completed session of 10 September 2026. The return ratios, operating margin, PEG, EV/EBITDA, pledge percentage and the five-year sales and profit CAGRs come from a Screener-derived capture dated 5 August 2026, which is why those two dates are named separately wherever the figures are used. No full multi-year Screener financial table and no verified quarterly series were captured for this company, so no quarterly results section appears above and no quarterly figure is quoted anywhere.

The business description follows the company’s own filed profile. Analytical judgment begins at the growth rates and exit multiples in the valuation framework, at the interpretation of the ROCE decline and the revenue-versus-earnings divergence, and at the risk and monitoring sections. Those are reasoned readings of the captured data, and reasonable analysts would choose different inputs.
